Flow forming is an advanced way of making wheels that sets it apart in the industry. The main difference from regular cast wheels is in the thickness of the wheel barrel. With flow forming, pressure is applied to the inner barrel of the wheel while it spins rapidly. This process makes the wheel thinner and lighter by stretching and compressing the aluminum in the casting, resulting in increased tensile strength.
